Flower

Michelle Thompson

Flowers and plants are often gifted on special occasions – births, deaths, and marriages. Yet, do we celebrate the flower or plant on a daily basis? As environmental changes occur, plants and flowers become endangered. Will this happen to those plants and flowers that commonly surround us?

Flower is a photographic exhibition that celebrates everyday plants and flowers. Flower consists of 10 images that capture plants’ and flowers’ beauty juxtaposed by the harshness of the tiled bathroom floor upon which they were photographed.
