The camera used for this series was handmade by me, it’s a light tight box with a tiny pin hole that acts as the lens allowing the light to travel in and create images on 5”x4” film.

The Images were taken when I lived in a small northeast town of Melbourne called Research, otherwise known as the “green wedge’.

I would often pass a small homestead on my walks, I loved the simplicity of this house, the overgrown plants, the old wooden shed, the wire gate, and the dusty chairs.

The Pin-hole Camera was used to perfectly reflect the mood and simple style of this house.

Tara Moore has been working in the Photographic Industry for almost 20 years, enjoying all aspects of photography from Fashion, Still Life, Commercial and art Photography.

Working now in Ballarat as a Commercial photographer Tara is thrilled to once aging exhibit her work and show yet another skill of her love of Photography.
